Songs of the Sea

A return to the freeing, calming, inspiring world of abstract landscapes with oil paint. I've been so focused on detailed animal and flower paintings recently, that spending a weekend working on my oils with a palette knife felt a bit like a good stretch after sitting down for too long.

This was painted mainly with a palette knife, allowing for texture and movement in the sky, juxtaposing with smoother foreground.

This painting will be securely sent flat-packed.
