A dynamic painting created primarily with a palette knife. This painting was made over a prolonged period of time, using many layers. There are therefore lots of little windows to previous colours that show through, especially in the sky. I also used glazing in the foreground to darken the sides and increase the contrast, thereby allowing that orange-yellow in the sky to pop.
The perfect frame would be white with white matting.
