Temperatures have dropped so suddenly and as someone who can't handle the cold well, I'm already dreading the coming winter and longing for the far-away summer. I created this painting at the height of the hot season, and it's so infused with light and warmth that I brought forward my uploading schedule for it.
This is a new technique where I've incorporated wax into my paint, giving the final piece a gorgeous matte appearance. No need for varnish because the matte effect is intentional, and because the wax adds a layer of protection anyway. However, the paint surface will be as hard as a candle so please avoid scratches and get it framed.
