Artwork Description

Claude Monet owned a studio boat and completed many paintings on the River Seine and other waterways. Here we have his friend Edouard Manet painting him painting. The small collage in the bottom left corner shows a photograph of a painting by Monet of this boat. That explains why my version of the boat varies from Manet's.
