This landscape is inspired by Katherine Hot Springs, a beautiful place I visited a few years ago.
Painted in fine oils on Italian linen, the work captures the striking contrast between the warm Australian bush and the cool turquoise of the water. The water was an absolute delight, creating a feeling of serenity and escape.
It was one of those special moments when you feel as though you have discovered a little piece of paradise. With the weather in Melbourne being so cold at the moment, I find myself thinking often of this beautiful place.
Each painting is provided with a certificate of authenticity and is securely wrapped in layers of bubble wrap and thick cardboard.
