Artwork Description

This small artwork is painted on a wooden board and doesn’t require framing.
As it’s a panel wood there is no string at the back but it’s easy to hang.
Edges birch plywood .
The bird depicted is a Yellow Robin, one of my favourite Australian species.
It is painted with acrylic and finished with a protective varnish.
The background features metal leaf, which creates beautiful reflections under different lighting.
You can see shades of light gold and green with a special patina.
I’ve worked extensively with this technique, following a precise gilding protocol.
Each painting is provided with a certificate of authenticity and wrapped securely with bubbles layers and thick cardboards.

Artist Bio

I removed my last bio
because I am not sure you really care about who I am ..
As I want to tell a story in my paintings as in life..
I am working on a new theme ‘Duality’ and metal series!
I mixed two techniques gilding with metal leaf or gold leaf and oil or acrylic..
Opposition between something strong and something fragile with different subjects or colours
So in my new series of paintings the concept of duality will be constant ..
Wait and see ..like or not ..
Just to let you know !
aren’t you curious ?
