I find it hard to throw away plastic after the REDCycle debacle - so I decided I will create a series of fun, silly and quirky pieces.

This is Koala Coffee, an Aussie icon and much needed part of our life... yup...both of them.
Layered and cut, curled and manipulated recycled plastic bags and foil packaging into a fuzzy Koala and bub, with a nice Eucalyptus peeling some bark and a lush sunny day.

It's a bit of "fun" art.
But it's a serious situation - like a lot of people I try to reduce my plastic "consumption" - but there are still too many tons where I am sure other options could be utilised by manufacturers.

This is a conversation piece. Not a wonderful piece of talent filled artwork .
Just something to say... How can I make this place a a better tomorrow?

Thank you.
