This Alpine scene shows a soft off white sky buffeted by the high Snowy Mountains.
A striking palette of deep forest green, emerald, moss, citrine and chartreuse compliments the deep ebony blacks and flickers of gold leaf. The gold leaf changes depending on the light source. The gold leaf will not look overly bright if there is not enough light on it.

The signature at the bottom right almost blends in.

This artwork incorporates areas of collage to create texture and layer the washes of paint. The texture and gold leaf are sealed with varnish.
