Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas

Signed on the front.

The Iceland series depicts paintings from my month long Art Residency in Iceland. July has some 21 hours of light at the beginning and the colours on a clear day were vibrant and lush.

Crossing Fjarðabyggð is a painting inspired by the mountains south of Egilsstaðir on Route 1.
The mountains are so vividly lush after the glaciers have melted, the multitude of greens are breathtaking.

This large artwork ships unstretched in a roll.
The Un-Stretched size is 102cm x 292cm and so the final stretched size is approximately 90cm x 280cm on a deep edge stretcher and possibly larger in a frame.

Stretching of this size is best done by a local or Mobile Framer that comes to you.

Commisisons welcome.
