Artwork Description

Light of the Moon tracks waterholes and rivers that shimmer in the moonlight. The silver leaf gilding shimmers a bright silver in some lights and a darker gunmetal in other light.

The paint has been built up in layers of colour - the shades are a periwinkle blue, dark blue, cornflower blue, black, purple and shades of grey.

My artwork traces a walk through different parts of the Outback - it can be viewed almost like a map.

Using a combination of acrylic, oils, charcoal and pastel to create a soft dreamy landscape.
