Artwork Description

The elegant "Magnolia on Gold Leaf" shows the exquisite magnolia blossom in all its beauty.
.
Inspired by Japanese and Chinese gold screen paintings, the entirely gold leaf embellished background reflects the light, bringing a luxurious ambiance to any room. The gold leaf acts to reflect the light source.
There are no shadows painted on the artwork, the shading in the corners is due to the changing
light - see the two photos in different lighting.
Your lighting- and the way it changes from day to night will alter the look of the gold background, making this piece truly unique.
.
There is a cement like texture ( from Golden Art Supplies) on the base - lightly spray with gold - it will also change in the light. It is formulated for artists to use on canvases and is intended to be durable.
