Artwork Description

Marking Time 2 is a large abstract landscape depicts banksia trees and a distant horizon in earth tones of off-white, cream, warm beige, a soft ochre and dark brown. It is highlighted with charcoal and metallic copper leaf ( similar to gold leaf as it is a ultra thin metal applied to the canvas)
The copper leaf changes in the light and will look a burnished copper in some lights and a bright "penny/1 cent" copper at other angles.
-
This large abstract is a diptych - each panel measures 150 x 130cm for each canvas panel. The total length without a gap is 300cm - with no spacing or if you hang it with spacing between the artworks will measure 330-350cm
