Artwork Description

This is part of the Wanderer series - search here for similar pieces https://bluethumb.com.au/laurie-franklin/series/wanderer

A wave of Autumn colours fire up a mountain ridge.
This striking abstract landscape depicts the Autumnal colours of ochre, copper, sienna and terracotta contrasted against a deep dark blue. The sky is beige and white.

The copper leaf will change depending on the light source - this image was taken in good lighting to capture the striking nature of the copper. At some angles and in different lighting it will look more burnished bronze and in other lights it looks like a shiny copper 1c piece.
There are small areas of hand printed collage added for texture and depth.

Stretched and ready to hang.
Commissions welcome in any size.
