.
Timeless Transient describes the Tjoritja or Macdonnell Ranges. The ancient mountain range in South of the Northern Territory contains many spectacular gaps and gorges. I have painted on and juxtaposed Mulla Mulla which are seasonal in growth.
.
I have depicted Mulla Mulla catching the sun. The featured gold leaf gives a glow beneath the paint - much like the Mulla Mulla in real life in the sun. Gold leaf is a recurring motif in my artwork depicting light and sun.
