Burrus is from the Salis series where environmental narratives are explored through aerial abstracts over salt lakes in Western Australia. Remnants of ancient river systems are evident in the states interior, however, in recent history excessive land clearing has caused secondary salinisation in the region. The abstract aerials reveal extreme environments of recent and ancient history delicately balancing against the beauty of colour and shape. As seen in The Guardian, Wired and Fubiz.
