Artwork Description

n evening walk or run along the Waco Riverwalk is over the top stunning. The night was crystal clear with a rich, deep blue sky reminiscent of a night sky in the desert. As the sun faded, treating me to its final deep color, the lights on Waco (Chisholm Trail) Suspension Bridge, which was also catching the final glow of the sunset, was just incredible. I knew that my experience that Spring evening was destined to be interpreted and captured in a painting to share with all. The nightlife in Indian Park is a serene and relaxing adventure. And, if you want more excitement, watch for special events held there because this place is magical. Just let yourself go and feel the inspiration! Or, for the inspiration that keeps on giving, contact me if you are interested in this painting. It is a dramatic piece that changes with the ambient light in the room. A photo just cannot capture the real look of this painting.

Artist Bio

« ''Discovering the Artist Within", a fascinating process of reinvention and self discovery, evolving as an artist, enhancing and expressively conveying what my mind "sees" rather than my eyes. »
Prize winning American artist Lee James's emotive and textured paintings vividly capture their subjects. Inspired by early morning, dusk and nocturnal settings where light and color are at their most dramatic Lee's artworks expertly capture the atmosphere and beauty of the scene. Working in the impressionist style, Lee has developed a unique technique where colors are applied to the canvas unmixed, this allows the viewer to subconsciously mix the colors and enjoy the natural vibrancy and texture of each hue. Lee's artworks have been exhibited extensively throughout the USA, and are held in numerous public and private collections.
