Artwork Description

A mixed media drawing of a woman drinking spirit, with swallows flying around her, from Sydney artist Leni Kae.

”The woman in this image has a fierce look of knowing. She drinks (metaphorical) spirit - representing drinking her truth. She knows who she is and what she wants. As an animal spirit, the swallow is a messenger between worlds. In this painting they fly away from her because she no longer requires their help. She holds her own in this moment- the now”. - Leni Kae | @LeniKae on Instagram
