This is a painting of a beautiful little creek off Lake Macquarie, Nsw.
It has a dreamlike quality, and is remenicent of William Dobell's work near Wangi Wangi.

Libby Cusick was born in Newcastle NSW,
Predominantly working with acrylic on canvas , she likes to depict the ever changing nature of water and landscape,
as well as still life and portraiture.
She completed a Diploma in Art in 1981, studying both at Newcastle College of Advanced Education and Sydney College of the Arts.
Libby has exhibited in many shows and exhibitions over the last 30 years in Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast. She is a member of
The Society of Artists Newcastle and Portrait Painters Hunter.
