Artwork Description

This was painted during TMAC Open Studios event in May 2023. I set up a favourite object- an antique steiff bunny- on the old Fry’s box I found at the vintage country brocante. Then I added some of my home grown pumpkins. I had a great time painting this while chatting to visitors. We had about 100 people stop in to my studio gallery, so I ended up finishing this after the event.

Artist, illustrator, engineer. Sharing the things I make and living on a beautiful mountain. 🎨

I love painting in different styles and creating whatever takes my fancy. I like to think you can see my voice in each piece I create. I love making still life, landscape, portraits, woodworking, and colour pencil illustrations

My work has been exhibited all around the world and is held by numerous private collectors. I've had my work featured in publications including Frankie, Little White Lies (UK), Yen, NYLON, Elle Girl (South Korea), as well as countless others. You can find my illustrations on all 10 Aussie covers of the Friday Barnes series by R.A. Spratt.

My experience in illustration includes advertising, children’s book illustration, textile design, editorials, asset creation for an animated TV commercial. Clients include Penguin Random House Australia, Oxfam America, Officeworks, and Saatchi & Saatchi.

I also lived in Germany for years and am fluent in the language and loved visiting museums when I lived there. You can see the influence of my time there in my still life paintings.
