Little Blue Heron

Inspired by photos from my husband's cousin, this painting of a little blue Heron reflects the intensity of a bird looking for its prey.
In an attempt to loosen up in my painting this painting has been worked using a larger that usual brush, using the brush in all directions to capture the different types of feathers.
