Artwork Description

Acrylic on wood, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This Whiteout series, which is inspired by the pandemic and quarantine - began as a visual interpretation of the erasing of large parts of our lives. This piece is about listening, to your inner self and to others around you. The tall spindly horse is in conversation with the small blue donkey figure. The floating boat, faces and bird are all socially separated as we have been in the quarantine. But there seems to be a sense of communication through all of the elements surrounding the doily sun. Mixed media elements include the doily, sculptural wall covering, tulle, wood and screws.

Images of a dog couple, both male and female in human clothes. The dogs are each in their own wooden panel, separate, but equal. They appear to be floating over the ground. This image of a floating long legged zebra feels weightless and free with sparkling elements all around it.
