Linda is best known for the twisting colours and forms in her paintings. She loves to use both oil and acrylic paint and is often known to branch out into other mixed media when the opportunity arises. Underlying themes in her work often include abstract impressions of the landscape. These include both long vistas and close up forms...any form,shape or colour can be a source of excitment for her. Linda lives in country NSW and is surrounded by National Parks with stunning natural landscapes. There is no shortage of inspiration for artists. Linda has a long history of studying art and art history both formally and informally and continues to enjoy classes where she can work and study with other artists. Her favourite times are when she can escape to her studio but also loves to work plein air whenever she can.
