Artwork Description

I love the warble of a Magpie, Maggies seem to be a bird you either love or hate. I love them even though I have memories of being pecked on the head whilst riding my bike in a caravan park as a kid in the days before we had to wear helmets.

Just doing a goggle search I learnt there is many different names for a group of magpies such as, a charm, a gathering, a flock, a murder, a gulp, a tiding. a tribe, a congregation and a mischief. Out of all those names I like charm the most.

This painting is the largest one I have done yet with a group of birds :)

Painted on deep edge stretched canvas with black painted sides, it comes sealed in a satin finish, signed and ready to hang.
