Kookaburra laughs in the shadows,
In the afternoon's gentle glow,
Black and white, such a delight,
Ink hues upon white birds take flight.
A symphony of joy in the stillness,
Echoing through the trees,
Nature's melody, pure and free,
As the kookaburra sings with ease.
In the quiet of the twilight,
The laughter fills the air,
A reminder of the simple pleasures,
That we often forget to share.
So let us pause and listen,
To the kookaburra's song,
And find solace in its laughter,
In a world that can sometimes feel wrong.
I decided to rework and old painting by painting it all white and dry brushing backover it with black to give it a effect.
Painted with a pallette knife on deep edge stretched canvas with matching painted sides, signed and ready to hang.
