Original Artwork's Description

This painting is was inspired by Elephant Rocks, Western Australia. Large rocks shaped like elephants create a small lagoon, its is one of my most favourite places to visit.
Tor this painting alcohol ink was used to form the rocks. Interesting patterns are formed and shapped into large rocks. These rocks form a lagoon of calm shallow water for beach goers to enjoy.
Turquoise water lapping the shore where people enjoy the sand and sun.
Enjoy a summer beach get away everyday with this painting on your wall.

The camera doesn't capture the color as well as it should. The ocean is a beatiful light green blue turqoise.

My beach paintings are always brightly coloured and full of whimsical beach goers.
Due to the nature of how I create the art, there are sometimes drips which are all appart of the painting and technique.
If you are a lover of the beach, surf and summer this is the painting for you!

Artist Bio

I am a mum of 2 busy boys and a loving husband who love to get out and about in our beautiful colourful Western Australia.
Being a self taught artist who loves colour, I love exploring new art techniques. I have a love of abstract art. There is beautiful real life scenery, flowers or sunsets that are ready to be painted, but cameras can capture those in great detail. No one can photograph or paint your imagination. I love that the pictures in my head spill onto the canvas in colour and detail. I love playing around with Ink and seeing where it runs and what it forms. All forms of abstract catch my eye and love a bit of collage. But beaches are my main love and I grew up living my youth at the beach. Even now my family love to spend the summer days by the beachside. My art is most recently inspired by the country we live in. The bush, beach, flowers and animals. So much colour and diversity. Australia love 😍
