Artwork Description

Surfers fill the beach at Seven Mile Beach, stretching for as far as the eye can see. Sunny and hot, surfers and sunbathers hanging out catching waves and sun rays.
The water a light turquoise blue that seems to sparkle in the afternoon sun.
It is almost like you could be there, or that you want to jump into that painting and enjoy the sun too!

The camera doesn't capture the color as well as it should. The ocean is a beatiful green blue turqoise. Some shimmery turqoise was used to create the ocean at the top, and can almost be seen shimmering away in the sun.

The ocean was created using acrylic inks. Acrylic paints used the complete the painting with little people going about their summer afternoon. My technique of flowing inks can cause swirls, drips and water marks, this is all apart of the abstract beach painting.
My beach paintings are always brightly coloured and full of whimsical beach goers.
If you are a lover of the beach, surf and summer this is the painting for you!

Colours may vary from computer screen to screen.

RECYCLED CARDBOARD USED!!!
I always try and use pre-used cardboard when packaging up my paintings.
"1 tonne of paper recycled saves almost 13 trees, 2.5 barrels of oil, 4100kWh of electricity and 4 cubic meters of landfill. "
Please try and recycle my cardboard once your package arrives. Together we can slowly make a difference.

Artist Bio

I am a mum of 2 busy boys and a loving husband who love to get out and about in our beautiful colourful Western Australia.
Being a self taught artist who loves colour, I love exploring new art techniques. I have a love of abstract art. There is beautiful real life scenery, flowers or sunsets that are ready to be painted, but cameras can capture those in great detail. No one can photograph or paint your imagination. I love that the pictures in my head spill onto the canvas in colour and detail. I love playing around with Ink and seeing where it runs and what it forms. All forms of abstract catch my eye and love a bit of collage. But beaches are my main love and I grew up living my youth at the beach. Even now my family love to spend the summer days by the beachside. My art is most recently inspired by the country we live in. The bush, beach, flowers and animals. So much colour and diversity.
