I made this painting from a pic I took in the Hunter Valley when I was visiting for a Christmas Party a few years ago. The Hunter Valley is gorgeous, boasting vineyards and rolling hills. On this summer day, just before sunset, the view was glorious and the distant hills seemed to glow (and I'm sure it wasn't just the sparkling wine we were drinking making me think that!). It was truly a magical moment in a magical place. I've painted this scene several times now, or variations of it, and every time I recreate it I feel like I'm etching it further into my memory. I hope you love it too!
