This piece uses textured modelling paste and acrylic to create movement and light, with each square representing different shades of the ocean. I wanted to draw on the calmness that I feel when I am in or near the water, and used the different shades of blue in each square to bring to life the feeling of floating in the water, and the release of stress, anxiety and tension through movement. This piece comes framed in a stunning sustainable Blackwood timber by Southern Buoy and is ready to hang. The piece has been varnished, but I recommend hanging out of direct sunlight.
