Artwork Description

Mixed Media on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This artwork comes with an external frame

This piece was about channelling the sense of calm.

The darkness in the bottom corners is telling the story of reaching from the depth of darkness towards the light, and the movement of the whale is slow and peaceful as she reaches towards the light.

The traversing of gold dots across the canvas represents the movement of the water and origami paper is used to bring highlights to the whale tips.

This piece comes framed in sustainable Blackwood timber.
