This painting is a an abstracted and remembered landscape, inspired by a path along the coastal cliff top near where I live. Depending on the weather and the time of day this can be a riot of blues and turquoise from the sea below and the yellow/greens of foliage alongside the path, or grey and dark green on a wild, windy day. I have incorporated texture and transparent layers to suggest water, rocks and branches. It has movement and energy.
