A Touch of Rose Gold 2

It is always such a joy when I paint sweet roses like this. Using a limited palette and letting the paint mix on the paper is a very satisfying way of creating lovely little images of my favourite flower. The final touch of gold ink outlining the leaves and petals adds some extra sparkle.
This painting has been mounted using a white acid free matt board, is behind glass and set in a timber frame.
