Banksia Integrifolia is such a beautiful coastal (east) Australian tree and one that brings me great joy and memories of Yamba family holidays. I love that the old cones still stay on the tree even when new flowering cones are emerging. This watercolour is very much in the vein of old fashioned botanical art with a touch of shadowing to bring into the 21st century.
This painting is not framed leaving you room to use your own flair to fit your decor.
