Bursting with Colour

Every day I walk past this Red Flowering Gum (Corymbia hybrid C. ficifolia x C. ptychocarpa). The fascinating thing about it is that it flowers more than once a year and it always excites me when I see the first gum nut buds appear. Many photos taken! Many moments paused to observe the process of bursting flowers! Many happy smiles to acknowledge nature's own creation!
This painting is complemented with a white destressed timber frame, mounted behind a white acid-free mat board and standard glass.
