Artwork Description

My artwork is mostly done intuitively including this lovely, bright, alcohol ink painting. I find art so cathartic. It is a piece of my soul reflected on a substrate. In this case Nara paper, which is a smoothe synthetic paper. I have to import this paper from India.
Alcohol inks are a dye based ink that are activated by adding isopropyl alcohol.
All of my alcohol ink paintings have 3 coats of sealant before I varnish again with 3 coats of UV vanish to help prevent the inks from fading.
It is best not to hang alcohol ink paintings in direct sunlight.
I hope you enjoy this piece.
