This artwork is inspired by walks along the beach. Watching the sun shimmer on the turquoise water, the warm sand, sea glass, shells and the coastal vegetation. I’ve taken all the elements and poured them into my painting. I have used many layers of acrylic paint some layers peeking through and scratched back, ink mark making with patterns and gold leaf. I hope you get a sense of the beautiful beach when you view this artwork.
