Harbour boats, sunset

The boats along a Sydney waterfront- en Plein air during the restrictions of 2021- I hid in some shrubbery under a bridge and painted quietly. This beautiful blush sunset hit the boats and created a lovely foreground.

I am a professional artist living in Sydney. I have a diploma in fine art and have training in traditional painting and drawing techniques. I paint whenever my work and family time allow - which is most evenings and weekends.
When I paint or draw, I know I’m in the right place, doing something that I have a calling to do.
I prefer to paint from life as I feel the results are more immediate.
