Bunch of Beauties

Bunch of Beauties is a watercolour piece in the style of a wonderful Japanese artist I very much admire - Yuko Nagayama. I have freely applied watercolour with large brushes and buckets of water to achieve the wonderful free effects which can be achieved with this great medium when you allow it to have its own way. In addition, I have used a simple complimentary colour scheme of pinks and greens to keep the vibrancy of the colours alive. This is part of the series in this style of works.

As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, pastels and drawings.

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, I am still losing the war with the tape machine so the package may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.

Lucinda Leveille is an Australian landscape artist based in Queensland, known for atmospheric oil paintings that explore weather, stillness, distance and the emotional presence of place.
