Eventide by Lucinda Leveille is part of the series of exploring the solitary in the landscape. Incorporating the imagery of the solitary flight of the bird. The title of this painting comes from a poem by Tara Estacaan -
"Dark and light
striking
each other,
vividly etching wild colours
through the horizon.
The charm of sunset
makes me want
to scurry home."
I can imagine the flight of these birds as they try to race the storm back to the sanctuary of home.
If you love this piece but it doesn’t quite suit your space, I would be delighted to work with you to produce an artwork that will work for you and your home, I enjoy commissions and it’s always great to know that this is something uniquely yours. You can now email me directly, straight to my inbox and we can discuss what you would like.
As with all of my works, this is an original and a one of a kind, I do not make prints from any of my works.
The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork .
The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, I am still losing the war with the tape machine so the package may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
