I always seem to be drawn back to flowers in the landscape when I pick up my watercolours, I love to experiment with the colours and layer them one on top of the other. This one has my favourite flower - Queen Annes Lace - those fantastic little flowers are so delightful to paint. I am really enjoying working with this garden series of paintings - the colours and vibrancy of gardens are a lovely feeling when we are in winter and at the moment lockdown! Turquoise is a wonderful summer colour to enjoy all year round.

The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork .

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, I am still losing the war with the tape machine so the package may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.

Lucinda Leveille is an Australian landscape artist based in Queensland, known for atmospheric oil paintings that explore weather, stillness, distance and the emotional presence of place.
