Artwork Description

Savanna Nights : This square canvas, 100 cm a side and held in a warm oak floating frame, portrays the African savanna under the cloak of night. The centerpiece is a striking red acacia tree, standing alone in a sea of dry, sun-faded grass. The darkened sky above and the pale plains below create a serene tension, while the vivid tree blazes with life and energy. Savanna Nights – Grasslands invites the viewer into a moment of still solitude on a vast and untamed landscape.

The artwork will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity assuring the purchaser of its quality and provenance. The painting will be carefully packaged for its journey to its new home, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition.

Artist Bio

Lucinda Leveille is an Australian landscape artist based in Queensland, known for atmospheric oil paintings that explore weather, stillness, distance and the emotional presence of place.

Working primarily in oils, Lucinda creates original landscape paintings shaped by memory, light and the quiet tension of changing skies. Her work often features clouds, trees, open land, distant roads and weather-filled horizons, sitting somewhere between realism and abstraction.

A graduate of the National Art School in Sydney, Lucinda has painted for many years and has exhibited widely, with work held in private collections across Australia and overseas. She has been recognised as one of Bluethumb’s Top 50 artists, placing her among the top-selling artists on the platform.

Her paintings are created as one-of-a-kind originals, with no prints or reproductions. Each work is developed slowly through layers of oil paint, colour, atmosphere and feeling, offering collectors a quiet place to arrive within the landscape.
