Silence of The Earth is a grand landscape painting capturing the essence of a vast expanse.
The inspiration for this painting comes from Fyodor Dostoevsky : "The silence of the earth seemed to merge with the silence of the heavens and the mystery of the earth touched the mystery of the stars."
The canvas showcases a panoramic view that stretches beyond the frame, drawing you into the scene. Above, white cumulus clouds float gracefully in the brilliant blue sky, casting soft shadows on the land below.
In the foreground, weathered ghost gums rise like ancient sentinels, their gnarled trunks and branches creating intricate patterns against the horizon. The landscape is a sea of dried grassland, painted in warm, golden hues that evoke the sense of an arid yet mesmerizing terrain. The combination of the expansive panorama, the timeless trees, and the dried grassland creates a painting that captures the rugged beauty and quiet elegance of our natural world.
With reference to my renewed interest in the Australian landscape, especially the wonderful colours we are surrounded with, it is hard not to be influenced by our world.

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, I am still losing the war with the tape machine so the package may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
