Artwork Description

In this quiet series, a magenta tree stands sentinel beneath deep, luminous skies – a constant presence through shifting moments of time and light. Where The Sky Begins captures the hush of a new arrival, When The Light Lingers holds the warmth of memory in the clouds; and While the Tree Remembers reflects on all that has passed beneath its watchful limbs. These three works are an ode to presence, stillness and the silent stories etched between land and sky.

The artwork will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity assuring the purchaser of its quality and provenance. The painting will be carefully packaged for its journey to its new home, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition.

Artist Bio

Lucinda Leveille is an Australian landscape artist based in Queensland, known for atmospheric oil paintings that explore weather, stillness, distance and the emotional presence of place.

Working primarily in oils, Lucinda creates original landscape paintings shaped by memory, light and the quiet tension of changing skies. Her work often features clouds, trees, open land, distant roads and weather-filled horizons, sitting somewhere between realism and abstraction.

A graduate of the National Art School in Sydney, Lucinda has painted for many years and has exhibited widely, with work held in private collections across Australia and overseas. She has been recognised as one of Bluethumb’s Top 50 artists, placing her among the top-selling artists on the platform.

Her paintings are created as one-of-a-kind originals, with no prints or reproductions. Each work is developed slowly through layers of oil paint, colour, atmosphere and feeling, offering collectors a quiet place to arrive within the landscape.
