Green has always felt like the colour of renewal to me. Not the bright green of spring, but the deeper, quieter green that settles across the landscape after the weather has passed. It's a colour that suggests resilience, stillness and the slow return of life.

In Where the Green Returns, the solitary tree stands quietly beneath a vast Australian sky, surrounded by space and silence. Rather than demanding attention, it invites you to pause for a moment and simply look. These are often my favourite landscapes to paint because they remind me that nature rarely hurries, yet it is always changing.
