Artwork Description

A difficult decision requires deep contemplation. Continuing my interest in capturing mood and emotion in a modern style this piece explores the emotion of contemplation.
The combination of warm tones work beautifully against the battleship grey background and the most pale of grey on the face. This palette works in a variety of decor.
Send me an image of your wall and I can use my clever app to show you exactly how the painting would look at your place.
Colour not quite right for you ? No problem- commission your own in any size (square works best ) and your customised colour palette.

Artist Bio

I have always loved to paint and draw and have been fortunate to spend many years working in a creative field. With my children now finished school, I have made the transition to focus on and develop my own art.
I have periodically entered art shows and have recorded sales at the Red Hill Art Show, The Knox Art Show, The Albert Park College Art Show, and the Ripper Art Show. And in 2023, I was named a finalist in the Art to Art Unearthed Art Prize.

My first solo exhibition was held in 2024 at Glowing Structures, 541 Chapel St. STH Yarra and I’m still painting commissions from that show - the hard work was worth it!
I’m looking forward to more exhibiting opportunities in the near future.

I work in acrylics, but you may see some inkwork creeping in and I have just discovered oil pastels! I use both canvas and board.
Whilst I love painting faces and figures, I am always interested to explore new concepts and techniques so my hope is for you to see a diverse range of subjects and be part of my growth and evolution.
