Inspired by people on the streets of Melbourne looking cool in sunglasses. In fact I was on my way to the National Gallery and saw many a well dressed person going about their business. In sunglasses of course. Who knows where they are off too? Hence the title.
Painted in my favourite Autumn shades and cooled down with a mid grey background.
Note that the lower sides are olive and red striped as shown in my images .. some interest if you choose to hang unframed.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I have always loved to paint and draw and have been fortunate to spend many years working in a creative field. With my children now finished school, I have made the transition to focus on and develop my own art.
I have periodically entered art shows and have recorded sales at the Red Hill Art Show, The Knox Art Show, The Albert Park College Art Show, and the Ripper Art Show. And in 2023, I was named a finalist in the Art to Art Unearthed Art Prize.
My first solo exhibition was held in 2024 at Glowing Structures, 541 Chapel St. STH Yarra and I’m still painting commissions from that show - the hard work was worth it!
I’m looking forward to more exhibiting opportunities in the near future.
I work in acrylics, but you may see some inkwork creeping in and I have just discovered oil pastels! I use both canvas and board.
Whilst I love painting faces and figures, I am always interested to explore new concepts and techniques so my hope is for you to see a diverse range of subjects and be part of my growth and evolution.
Commissions are most welcome!
