Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I began painting in 2007, painting landscapes and buildings initially and further challenging myself to try different techniques and styles to eventually finding a style that I enjoy painting and that people respond to. I am drawn into the detail and want to capture the beauty of a subject as I see it. I create paintings that are realistic and inspired by places that I have traveled to both home or abroad. My inspired works are often images I find beautiful, interesting and include architecture, each place has a unique sense of style and history. I aim to continue to paint what inspires me - beautiful scenery, landscapes, architecture and bold colours and textures. I am a self taught artist working primarily in acrylic paints. As change is the only constant I continue to explore different techniques and styles but mostly create art that people love and can connect with.
I have been selling art work since 2008 including commissioned pieces and inspired works of art at exhibitions, online and through word of mouth.
I have always had a love of painting and drawing since I was a child and art was the subject I most excelled at. I will always challenge myself to paint what I am inspired to paint and create something that is truly beautiful in my own unique style.
