Mandi Chambers
Currently based in Melbourne, Australia, the most liveable city in the world. Having had a career in the fashion industry for many years and a strong passion for design, Mandi diversified and branched into commercial interior design. During the global pandemic with additional time on her hands, Mandi explored creatively and followed her passion for art with complete freedom.
Mandi's series "Emotions “ The collection is hand signed, numbered limited edition complete with Certificate of Authenticity.
This series was created from the many mood stages within lockdown. The emotional rollercoaster from feeling stressed , overwhelmed to reflection .
Over the last 2 years Mandi has experimented printing across a variety of mediums, and narrowed down to 4 favourite
. Amongst the selection: French cold pressed paper, textured canvas and corrugated iron.
This year Mandi also introduced a new outdoor range, printed on corrugated iron. This medium is 100% weatherproof, a fantastic centerpiece or feature for any backyard, courtyard or outdoor space. Another recent addition is printing on Acrylic which offers another look, a more modern feel.
Her piece "Stimulation" was a 2020 finalist in the 'International Art Competition' by Grey Cube Gallery. The inspiration drawn for the piece comes from Mandi's life experiences, state of mind and nature.
