Safe haven

In this painting I reflect on the tranquility and peacefulness one experience when you walk in a forest. The enormity of the trees invites you to look up into the light and breathe in the fresh air. This is the place where I feel close to creation and it’s creator. A place where oxygen is in abundance, birdsong comes from every direction and beauty surrounds you from the smallest detail and close up, to as far as the eyes can see!!!! Freedom, chaos, order, light, darkness, big small all come together in perfect harmony.
