Artwork Description

Breath in the damp thick oxygen filled air with lots of negative ions. In fact, experts say that once negative ions reach our bloodstreams, they produce biochemical reactions that increase levels of serotonin in our bodies, hence helping to relieve stress and alleviate depression. When I am close to nature and I breathe in the fresh air and feel the dampness of the forest, when I hear the sound of water flowing and the leaves rustling, accompanied by birdsong, I feel completely connected to my creator. I can clear my head and focus on being part of nature. It’s a private place inside my soul hence the title untraversed territory.

Artist Bio

Mandi paints intuitive atmospheric landscapes that captures the mood of nature. ” Nature or creation is the one place where I find an abundance of ideas and reverence from. The opposites in nature intrigues me, order versus chaos, soft against rough textures, light in darkness, etc, The always changing elements in growth or climate and the moods that it brings forth, The energy in itself, the detail when you look closer, and the bigger picture when you look up, are all part of the endless amazement that makes me want to be part of the creative process!”
