All art by Maree Bradbury

I have chosen bright apple green and perfect light magenta pink to celebrate a collaboration of story, family and women. There are Aboriginal symbols depicting our travels throughout our life as First Nation Women on Country. My story of country, depicting the beautiful island I live on. Using colours of the water and sands to tell the women's story of their lore. Your eyes are swept across the canvas of subtle pastel hues giving the viewer a taste of island life. This artwork is vibrant and has depth, with a bright colourful background and titanium white paint depicting the story. It is playful as your eyes travel around the canvas ingesting every corner. The palette of chosen colours in this art gives it a sense of crispness and sheer delight. It tells the story of family and connectedness to our culture.
